Information about AIIMS MBBS Admission 2014 Registrations: AIIMS, New Delhi asks the applicant request for admission in Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) 2014 course through an entrance examination.  This exam is scheduled for other location based AIIMS institute also like AIIMS Bhopal, AIIMS Patna, AIIMS Jodhpur, AIIMS Rishikesh, AIMS Raipur, and AIMS Bhubneshwar.


When Applicants Can Apply for Entrance Examination? Candidates can apply online registration from 17th February 2014.

Where Applicant Register Online for AIIMS MBBS Entrance Examination 2014?

What are important facts & Steps that should be consider on priority basis when you are filling online registration form for AIIMS MBBS 2014?
 Step 1:  Registration Fill the correct information of necessary details that are asked in the form of Personal, Educational, and Contact according to the guideline explored from AIIMS then click on “Save & Proceed”
 Step 2: Upload Images Applicants need to submit their signature & scanned passport size photograph during online registration. See the below important instructions which are mandatory process while uploading your image.
  • Is your Photograph is recently passport size and colored with a light background, then it is ok.
  • Do not upload Black & White/ Polaroid photographs that are not acceptable.
  • Detail of taken photograph and name must be written and photograph must be taken from on or after 1st February, 2014.
  • Applicant’s Photograph size should be maximum 500 kb and should be save the file as “Candidate Photograph” in these supported formats jpg, gif, png and jpeg.
  • Applicant need to write a signature in an area of 2” × 1” on a paper from a black ball point pen, then scan that Scan that document. Reinforced types of the pictures consist of gif, png, jpg in the maximum size of 300 KB.
  • Upload the “Candidates Signature.JPG”
Step 3: Payment Slip In this phase applicants need to produce a financial institution Challan by following its link. Transaction can be made through computer produced Challan Type in any division of State Bank of India.

Step 4: Fee Payment: Do transaction the exam, fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 800 in situation of SC/ST candidates) at closest division of SBI. Enter the code in the online application form that you got after fee payment through Challan.

Step 5: Keep Registration Slip Take out print out of your signing up slip simply clicking “Print Registration Slip”.

What about the candidates’ eligibility which is required?
  • Applicants, who are at least 17 years of age as on December, 2014 are eligible for this.
  • Applicants should have clear the 10+2 examination from Senior School Certificate Examination/Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or university of any Indian state with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Chemistry with 60% marks.
What about the AIIMS 2014 Paper Pattern? This exam would be done in 3 hours and 30 minutes time and you will get the 200 objective, multiple choices, and some questions from reasoning from Biology, Physics and chemistry with some questions from general knowledge.

Q. How Many Questions would be from Biology (Botany & Zoology)? Answer.  There would be 60 questions from Botany & Zoology. 


Q. How many Questions would be from Chemistry? 

Answer. There would 60 questions from chemistry


Q. How many questions would be from General knowledge? 

Answer. There would be 20 questions from General Knowledge


Q. How Many Questions would be from Physics? 

Answer. There would be 60 questions from Physics. 


What are Noticeable Points while giving the answers of questions in exam?  

  • Wrong Answer would be mark as Negative Marking
  • Correct Answer will create a score of +1 Mark
  • If you don’t give any answer of particular question there would be no credit.
  • More than one no responded answer will be mark as incorrect and give negative marking.
Is there any option for Overseas NRI citizens of India? Yes, according to the OCI recorded under section 7a Citizenship Act 1955 they are eligible to this AIIMS test and can gain the benefit of term & conditions of given brochure. Candidates need to submit proof of registration.

 Is a foreigner student can apply? Yes, For AIIMS New Delhi only International applicant specific by the Govt of India are needed to have at least 50% total marks in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their intermediate exam or comparative examination to be qualified for admittance to the M.B.B.S. Course. International candidates are not needed to seem at the entrance examination.

  • 181 Seats are reserved for Other Backward Class (OBC)

Undergraduate Admission

Requisite qualifications for MBBS
  • ·         The candidate seeking admission to MBBS courses should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination PUC II/HSC or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2/ HSC examination of any recognized Board / University from any School / Colleges in India / Abroad after 12 years of study.
  • ·         The candidate should have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually and must have obtained at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together in the qualifying examinations i.e. PUC II / 10+2 / HSC or equivalent and for SC, ST, category-I & OBC the eligibility will be 40%.
  • ·         The candidate should also have secured at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together in the JSSU Enterance Test and for SC, ST, category-I & OBC the eligibility will be 40% for admission to MBBS course.


Requisite qualifications for BDS
  • ·         The candidate seeking admission to BDS course should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination PUC II/HSC or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2/ HSC examination of any recognized Board / University from any School / Colleges in India / Abroad after 12 years of study.

  • ·         Pass in H.Sc.,/PDC/PUC (10+2) with an aggregate of 40% and for SC, ST, category-I & OBC the eligibility will be 35% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology or Biology or Mathematics. Passed in English Language.

Requisite qualifications for Pharma D
  • ·         10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology.
  • ·         A pass in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

Requisite qualifications for Pharm D. (Post Baccalaureate)
  • ·         Pass in B.Pharm from the recognized University and approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.


Post graduate Admission

Requisite qualifications for Medical & Dental programmes M.D. / M.S. / M.D.S. / P.G. Diploma Courses
  • ·         The candidate seeking admission to these courses should have passed MBBS, BDS examinations from the college recognized by Medical Council/Dental Council of India, and should have completed internship on or before 31st April in the Admission year.
  • ·         As per the regulations of statutory bodies, as laid out in Post-Graduate regulations 2000 of Medical Council of India, the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test for eligibility for admission to Post-Graduate courses shall be 50 % for all candidates and for SC, ST, category-I & OBC the eligibility will be 40%.
  • ·         Foreign / PIO / NRI students need not appear for JSSU PGET. Their admission will be based on qualifying examination marks.

MCI/DCI Norms: Medical and Dental PG Degree and Diploma Courses:

Every student, selected for admission to the Post-Graduate medical/dental course in any of the medical institutions in the country, shall possess recognized M.B.B.S/B.D.S degree or equivalent qualification and should have obtained permanent Registration from the Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India, or any of the State Medical / Dental Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of the admission, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled. Provided that in the case of a foreign national, the MCI/DCI may, on payment of the prescribed fee for the registration, grant temporary registration for the duration of the Post-Graduate training restricted to the medical college/ institute to which the applicant is admitted for the time being exclusively for postgraduate studies; provided further, that temporary registration to such foreign national shall be subjected to the condition that such person is duly registered as medical practitioner in his own country from which the applicant has obtained his/her basic medical qualification and that his/her degree is recognized by the corresponding medical council or concerned authority. If the candidate fails to fulfill the relevant eligibility requirements as mentioned above he/she will not be considered eligible for admission for Medical /Dental PG Degree and Diploma courses.

Requisite qualifications for M. Pharma
·         A candidate who has passed B. Pharm degree examination of any recognized University and has secured not less than 50% of the maximum marks (aggregate of four years) prescribed for the qualification examination shall be eligible for admission to the M. Pharm course examination shall be eligible for admission to the M. Pharma course.
